My name is Felipe. I was born on a cold early morning in 1999, in São Paulo, Brazil 🇧🇷, where I still live today.

Writing about yourself is never simple. I’m still trying to understand who I am, and I imagine everyone is going through that process. If I had to name the fragments that make up my personality, they would be films, music, technology, art, and a constant desire to meet new people and explore new places. In fact, those who know me only through my serious and quiet social persona probably wouldn’t imagine how much I enjoy going out, dancing, and socializing. I also deeply value spending time with people I care about. Having someone share their time in life with me is something I truly appreciate.

A lot of what I enjoy started because of my grandfather, always watching period films and blockbusters. It was because of him that we got our first computer, probably the biggest butterfly effect in my life. The other half came from my mother, who gave me my first video game, a Polystation, a Brazilian NES clone. I spent hours playing with her. I think that’s where my nerd side and my love for pop culture came from.

I live in a strange duality. I have a punk side and hippie values that pull me toward a life without constraints, while at the same time I have a side that enjoys the logic and discipline of a corporate environment. Some days I would drop everything to travel the world and become a nomad, and others I feel like I was meant to work in a glass office building in the middle of the city. Maybe that comes from being half paulista and half caiçara.

Now, writing this in 2025, in my mid-twenties, I feel like I’m getting closer to the person I want to be. I still struggle not to repeat old patterns related to depression, but I keep moving forward.

What is your current job?

I work as a bilingual Mid-Level Support Analyst, dedicated exclusively to vice-presidential level executives at a Swedish multinational telecommunications company.

Why did you decide to create a blog?

Preserving your ideas and thoughts on your own website is almost an art form, without depending on what social media dictates or on algorithms that prevent you from doing things simply because you enjoy them.

This idea has existed for over six years. 2025 was finally the year it came to life.

What is your academic background?

A degree in IT Management and a postgraduate degree in Digital Forensics and Investigation. Currently considering another postgraduate program focused on defensive security, probably blue team.

Have you ever worked with cybercrime?

Joining an organization like the federal police was the original plan. But for reasons I prefer not to discuss, I changed direction and focused exclusively on information security.

Do you have pets?

A Siamese cat named Empório.

Which countries have you visited?

Besides Brazil, only the United Kingdom, visiting London and Liverpool. More international trips coming? I hope so.
